Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course Recap

This weekend was a challenging one for Volcano Motorsport. John Filippi had faced a new and unfamiliar track, combined with a 10 kg handicap weight from Marrakech, also catching the flu. In Q2, John was improving his lap times, however, just missed out the P10 by few tenth. Neither our team nor our driver were able to fully adapt to the race track and these tricky conditions. 🚗 John Filippi’s Performance: • Q1: P12 • Q2: P11 • R1: P8 • R2: P9 🚗 Megan Tomlinson’s Performance: • R1: P13 • R2: P11 Megan showed consistent improvement with every lap, getting more comfortable with the new tires and the car. Although she didn’t make it to Q2, she started both races from P14 and finished both races. She also made history as the first female to score points in the TCR World Tour.
