Let’s sum up the day. Unfortunately, it wasn’t very successful for our team. During FP1 and FP2, we faced difficulties with the setup up John Filippi’s car, which affected his performance in Q1 and Q2. In Q1, he finished P12, and in Q2, he finished P11, missing on the chance to reverse grid position with the top ten drivers according to the championship rules. The new and completely unfamiliar track for both the driver and our team, combined with the 10 kg weight penalty from the previous race in Marrakech, led to us starting tomorrow’s races from less favorable position. But we keep working and hope tomorrow will bring better results. Megan Tomlinson on showed consistent improvement every lap, getting to know these new tires for her and building a confidence with the car. She did not manage to get to Q2 and will start the both races from P14 tomorrow. In the meantime, wish John Filippi and Megan Tomlinson good luck for the races tomorrow!🍀
