Volcano Motorsport is very excited to welcome new drivers, Klim Gavrilov and Isidro Callejas to join Evgenii Leonov to fight for 2022 TCR Europe Championship with three Cupra Leon Competición cars. Volcano Motorsport after winning the TCR Europe Drivers title with Mikel Azcona and Cupra Leon Competición in 2021 is ready for a new challenge with three very competitive drivers lineup to fight for TCR Europe drivers and teams titles. Evgenii Leonov, winner of CER Championship in 2020 had been a regular driver in TCR Europe, TCR Spain and TCR Italy, who last year been on the podium in TCR Italy race at Imola had taken another challenge in 2022 to compete for the title in TCR Europe. Klim Gavrilov had made great progress last year in TCR Europe winning on a high the last season's race in Barcelona with Cupra Leon Competition from Volcano Motorsport. Isidro Callejas, only 17 years of age, a talented young driver from the south of Spain had made a switch to Cupra after already great progress in his racing career taking part in TCR Europe and getting a podium place in Zandvoort and a pole position in Nurburgring races in 2021. All these three drivers had successfully completed an extensive pre-season training program by Volcano Motorsport in the preparation for TCR Europe season of 2022 on the tracks of Portimao, Paul Ricard, Spa, Monza, Barcelona and Nurburgring. We are all very excited to start racing in the next few days with a new season opener of TCR Spain at Jarama and then a week after in TCR Europe at Portimao fighting for 2022 TCR Europe team title also to keep the 2022 TCR Europe Drivers title in the team.
